Le Petit St. Linaire is well-situated at the head of a pretty valley and very easy to find, with RN135 and the A83 autoroute nearby. The motorway junction is about 10 minutes away by car.

The area well known for its rolling countryside, herds of white cattle and summer maize and sunflowers. The village of Ste. Hermine is a few minutes away by car where you will a supermarket, boulangeries, restaurants, bars and a small weekly market.

The cottage is ideal for families and is part of a renovated stone farmhouse where the owners live. We are always available to give information and any assistance that may be required. You will find a welcome pack on arrival - including fresh bread and some of delicious free-range eggs - and, of course, beer and wine in the fridge!

We provide brochures and information about the area and local photographs, some recommended local restaurants and opening times for the shops along with directions.

To add to you home comforts, we have installed English (UK) TV. The lounge is very comfortable and homely with its tile floor and screened windows.

Upstairs is carpeted throughout and has a modern shower-room and two bright airy bedrooms (a double and a twin). The double has ample hanging space, dressing-table with mirror and there are drawers in both bedrooms. All windows have uninterrupted views across the valley.

Directly outside is safe, drive-through parking, a petanque pitch (boules are provided should you wish to play this energetic game!) and a garden which is very open and looks out over the valley below us. There is a shady pergola in the garden - the perfect spot to sit and watch the wonderful sunsets.

From the guests' garden there is separate access to the swimming pool and barbecue areas. The pool area is surrounded by raised banks and additional screened fencing which makes it very secluded and being totally enclosed, it is very safe. The pool itself is 9m X 5m and has 1m and 2m depths. It is serviced and cleaned each morning, always kept spotless and is virtually chemical-free. Alongside the pool, and tucked into a shady corner, is the barbecue with further seating area. There is pleasant lighting beside the barbecue for lazy evenings of cooking, eating and swimming.

The whole property is well-maintained and the gardens and the pool are tended with the pleasure of your holiday in mind. We particularly appreciate that children also need a holiday and invariably we see more of them than their parents as we often find that they make friends with our dogs and children in our own family.
