Gite to rent in the beautiful Tarn-Et-Garonne near the historic town of Montauban.

Our gite “Gaillou” is situated in the Midi Pyrenees region of southwest France, in the county of Tarn et Garonne, also known as the Quercy, Quercy Blanc or Bas Quercy. 20 km north of the UN World Heritage site of Moissac, with its rich Gallo-roman history, set on the banks of the Tarn River and the Canal du Midi. 30 km north of Montauban. Montauban which so impressed the Emperor Napoleon on his first visit to the town that he moved the boundaries of the neighbouring counties in order to create the Tarn et Garonne to bestow upon Montauban the status of county town.
