I have a NVQ level 3 Carpentry award qualification and my health and safety certificates. I did my 3 year apprentership with a loft conversion company called loftcraft, where i did all the carpentry work which included all carcasing, 1st fix and 2nd fix work. i particuarly enjoyed building dormers and fitting staircases.
When i finished my apprentership i went self employed and did more 2nd fix work such as hanging doors, fitting kitchens and skirting and architrave.
Since April 2011 i have been working with two other carpenters and we have been doing larger jobs such as whole house renevations, shop fitting, landscaping, extentions and loft conversions. I can also plaster and the other two boys can brick lay. The 3 of us work well together and would like to continue if that is possible.
