| A versatile 1st and 2nd fixer carpenter, self employed sub contractor with over 15 years experience. Work involved sub contracting for Duffy’s Construction Group for over 12 years doing a wide variety of different projects all over London. These included working on new buildings and also refurbishing work on major hotels, flats, Kensington palace and the House of Lords. 1. CARPENTRY
Key Projects done for Duffy’s Construction (1997-2009) as a sub contractor and other Agency work are listed below:
2010 to date
Doing carpentry (1st and 2nd fixer) work as allocated by Construction Agencies as well as private work in different locations in London.
March 2007 – March 2009 - Refurbishment of flats at Eton Square
Building of a new layout to the complete knocked down interior of the 3 flats. Work included Stud work, plaster boards, door frames, doors, locks, bathroom panels and fitted wardrobes.
2004 – March 2007 – New Flats project at St Catherine Dock (Tower Bridge)
Work included soft fits to roof, stud work for bathrooms, bath panels, door frames, doors, locks, some plaster boards, fitted radiator covers and shuttering.
1997- 2004 6 Key projects
Cumberland Hotel - refurbishment (18 months)
Shuttering of new columns for the front of the building, new doors, locks, bathroom panels, shower up stands, partitions.
Marriott Hotel, Park Lane, (12 months)
Shuttering of new columns for the front of the building, new doors, locks, bathroom panels, shower up stands, partitions.
Mount Ventra Project Battersea – (3.5 years)
Bulk heads to kitchen units, partitions, doors and locks
2, Whitehall, Minister of defence office (6 months)
Refurbishment work to steps and doors
Kensington Palace (6 months)
Fitted new floor boards, put new ceiling, doors and partitions on ground floor.
House of Lords (9 months)
Sound proofing in loft, replaced hardwood cladding, fitted doors and frames, new wooden floors.
2. Key private work undertaken over the years:
Parish of Walthamstow [Church of England]
Maintenance works on both voluntary and contract basis over the years since 1995 for 3 Churches of the Parish of Walthamstow: St Mary’s, St Gabriel’s and St Stephen’s. Work included new wooden floor boards for the Welcome Centre, new stairs, and refurbishment of doors.
West Green Baptist Church
Partitioning, bookshelves and built new stands for music equipment
Private Homes
Doors, locks, gates, fencing, sheds, flooring, windows, and kitchens, built in wardrobes.

In other areas, I hold current SIA (Security Industry Authority) licenses for both CCTV (public space surveillance) and Door supervision. I also have experience in Event Management Stewarding and Spectator safety and also Door Supervision.
I am available for jobs in both construction (carpentry) and the security sectors.
