History
Following redundancy in 2009 Michael took control of his own destiny and started Turton Fire and Security Ltd, joined later by Neil Adamson we have gone from strength to strength to become one of the very best sub-contract teams in the UK

Michael Turton brings over twenty five years engineering and project management experience within the Fire and Security industry into Turton Fire and Security Ltd.

Having worked as an engineer for many of the major Fire and Security companies in the UK, Michael has gained a great reputation and a wide range of skills and experience in all aspects of the trade including, Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems, Intruder Alarms, Access Control Systems, Disabled Refuge Systems, Nurse Call Systems, Fire Suppression and Extinguishers, Integrated IP Solutions.  

He started his career as an apprentice security and fire alarm installer in 1984 and has gone on to become an award winning engineer working with major institutions such as Her Majesty’s Prison Service, Gap, Ricoh Arena, Schools and Colleges, River island, Sports World, Hospitals, and Health Authorities.

Beside starting a successful business during a recession the highlight of his career to date was becoming the National Technical Manager for the UK’s largest independent Fire and Security Company where he enjoyed the success of bringing in a new level of engineering excellence that resulted in the best NSI audit results ever achieved.
