Get a Secured Loan Quote Secured loans with CCJ's -Advice, secured loans, information and guides from secured loan brokers. If you have CCJ's lodged against you, obtaining a secured loan can be more difficult. Find advice, information and guides on secured loans with CCJ's, information on poor credit and bad credit secured loans, advice on secured loan arrears, guides on secured loans with county court judgements and solutions for bad credit secured loans through specialist secured loan brokers.

CCJs (County Court Judgements) are issued for all sorts of reasons. Often people get a CCJ through no fault of their own. A month or so off work through redundancy or ill-health may be all it takes for someone to fall behind with payments on a loan or other finance agreement, and end up being taken to court and getting a County Court Judgement issued against them.

Once you have got a CCJ, a note of the CCJ will be shown on your credit record. The only exception is if you are able to clear the debt in full within thirty days of receiving the County Court Judgement.

All CCJs are recorded on the Register of County Court Judgements. If you get a CCJ it will remain on this Register for six years.

Your CCJ will continue to appear on the Register of County Court Judgements, even once you have paid off the debt for which you received the CCJ. However, it will be marked as satisfied.

Even a CCJ which has been satisfied is likely to stay visible on your personal credit record and will mean you will be classed as having a bad credit history when it comes to applying for a secured loan.

So, once you have had a CCJ, getting a secured loan is not going to be very easy.

However, as with any type of credit problem, there are secured loan lenders out there who are happy to consider offering a secured loan to someone who has one or more CCJs.
