THE SEARCH ENGINES, WHICH IS THE BEST SEARCH ENGINE
The search engines, which is the best search engine to get more traffic to a website and how search engine optimisation is not always the best solution to improve visitor quality
However, I had two phone calls today from people who had paid just a few hundred dollars to have a website built who genuinely but misguidedly believed that they were going to make a lot of money on the internet. In both instances, I came to the conclusion, as nice as they were, that they were a couple of idiots who had more chance of bumping into Lord Lucan in Times Square than ever seeing a penny in return.
Because it costs so little to have a
cheap website
built, many people buy into the myth that the internet is paved with gold; and because it costs so little, every idiot looking for a fast easy way to get rich comes up with an idea and gets themselves a website. They, along with millions of other idiots, get themselves caught in The Golden web. This in fact is the answer to my theory about why they don't think about how anyone is going to find their website.
THE SEARCH ENGINES ARE BOTH YOUR FRIEND AND YOUR ENEMY
You can use
the search engines
to drive traffic to your website and you can also be lost amongst the millions of websites competing against you for top ten rankings. If your website is getting loads of visitors, you will think that the search engines are fantastic. If your website is buried below millions of other websites in the rankings you will probably feel like murdering the bastards running them.

THE BEST SEARCH ENGINE
The best search engine to drive traffic to your website is
Boogami not because it gets more traffic than Google but because you can buy advertising that is seen every time someone searches the internet. Pound for pound this is the most cost effective advertising I know of.
There are basically two ways in which you can make the search engines your friends and get them working for you.
Pay per click advertising
(covered by David in the appropriate chapter) and appearing in one form or another in the natural/organic search engine listings. The latter covers a number of internet marketing strategies and techniques that I will touch on here but which are covered in detail in other chapters including: search engine optimisation, blogging, internet advertising and marketing, correct website design and writing articles.
GET MORE TRAFFIC TO A WEBSITE
The real starting point is having a website designed that is actually built for the search engines - incredibly, most aren't. The search engines can't think for themselves and it is plainly obvious that website designers can't either. So if your website designer uploads your website to a search engine and it sends a garbled message about what your website is all about, don't shoot the search engine; give your website designer a good kicking instead.
This is not just about keywords and metatags. I know other websites all bang on about this but even if you are using all the right keywords, you still have to compete against a possible million other sites. Because there is so much rubbish published on other websites about search engine optimisation and because everyone plagiarises everyone else's articles, untested theories become fact and very few search engine optimisers have ever carried out any research of their own. They simply follow what everyone else is saying and therefore the blind are leading the blind and believing that the world is flat.
Obviously you have to have the right keywords and phrases but they need to be in the right places, in the right numbers and on the right number of pages. Most importantly you have to have the right type of content and you have to have lots of it. And when I say lots I mean mega content of enormous proportions if you are going to stand any chance of competing against the mega websites.
Google loves high content, informative sites and Google is King as far as search engine traffic is concerned. So your little 20 page website is on a hiding to nothing as
far as Google is concerned unless you have a
search engine optimiser who really know his stuff.
SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST SOLUTION
Correct SEO is labour intensive and therefore expensive and it therefore adds to the cost of a website design, build and development and is the main reason that website
designers don't get involved because it makes them appear uncompetitive. So if you are on a limited budget, the best thing to do, if you have a poor performing website is
build a number of optimised pages on
Utopele. You can optimise the pages simply by telling Utopele what keywords you want to be found by Google and the other search engines. Then link your pages into your existing website. It is all very simple so long as you can read and write.
BEST SOLUTION TO IMPROVE VISITOR QUALITY
Utopele is important to any website's search engine traffic because all the other search engines can search the Utopele database and because your web pages are part of a mega site, the search engines (especially Google) will rank them more highly. Hey presto, for a small outlay your website starts to get visitors that you have specifically targeted. Plus you can manage the content and therefore your internet marketing yourself without having to fork out and pay your crap website designer....
