SCAMS, GET RICH SCHEMES AND INTERNET FRAUD
Scams, get rich schemes and internet fraud and how to recognise bogus money making scams, spot the genuine internet business opportunities and avoid fraudulent schemes
So, if the website goes on and on without actually giving you an inkling as to what it is actually about, then it is a scam.
If the website tells you that the owner is sitting by his swimming pool and not lifting a finger to earn the money that is flooding in then it is a scam. Bill Gates, Lakshmi Patel, Ingvar Kamprad and any billionaire you can think of worked their socks off to get rich. Their roles may have changed, their job description may be different, they may have thousands of people working for them now, but they are still working their socks off maintaining their wealth.
GET RICH SCHEMES
There is no such thing as a
get rich scheme
that doesn't involve working hard. If you don't take this single piece of information on board, you will never make any money. We would lay a pound to a penny that there are some readers that will not accept this gem of information and still go looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. If this is you - more fool you; there are predators out there who take money off idiots all day long.
If the website advertising the get rich scheme claims that anyone can make money using their system, it is almost certainly a scam. We could give some readers personal coaching and they still wouldn't make money. It's one thing telling somebody what to do, it's quite another getting them to do it in the way it should be done. Frankly, some of you will have wasted your money buying The Golden Web but hopefully it will be the only money you will have lost, so maybe it was not wasted after all.
SCAMS
Scams
come in all shapes and sizes. Often there are the same people behind numerous scams, probably taking money off the same idiots time after time as they move onto the next get rich scheme when the others don't work. There are the "I'm richer than you" the "I'm rich and you're not" the "I don't have to lift a finger" and the "I was sceptical about this at first too" scams. They all promise easy money and they all promise to reveal their secrets for a tantalisingly low fee because they claim to want to help others or that there is enough money and a big enough market for everyone.
INTERNET BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
Get rich scams are usually either multi-level marketing schemes (MLM) and pyramid schemes; we can never tell the difference except that the former is apparently just about legal and the latter illegal. They both involve selling something where it involves recruiting millions of people who run around selling something to anyone they can find who hasn't already joined up to the scheme. The idea behind these schemes is it makes it cheap for the company to distribute their products and horrendously expensive to buy the products because of the huge pyramid of people earning money off every sale.
You only have to go on eBay to see how many people are trying to offload their garages full of stock they have bought and been unable to sell to realise that MLM schemes only make money for the first few people to join and the guy who thought up the idea. If they actually worked for everyone and everyone did as they were advised, every person in the world will have joined the scheme within ten days.
