Supermarkets are already stocking cheaper cuts of meat and cheap alternatives to their more expensive brands. This main mean a lower turnover but it doesn't mean lower profits. I'm just using this as an example of how you can use your resources and be resourceful in a recession. However, an idea like opening a restaurant is going to take a good few grand to equip. So how could you start a business with say £100 - £1000?

I know this would appear unthinkable but Iceland is going to be suffering a mini depression and unless the rest of the world comes to Iceland's rescue, the knock on effect could drag smaller, weaker economies down with it.
