Alchemy is a central database system that allows The Where On Earth Group to manage thousands of web sites simply and efficiently. So, someone visiting an estate agents web site for example, can view a property and from every page find information about mortgages, furnishings, where to eat, where to shop, legal advice, places to visit, things to do; in fact, as the data and information grow, every web site will become a 'must-visit' site for anyone looking to move to that area. This applies to all participating web sites whether they are holiday sites, estate agents or businesses providing services or goods to people buying, letting or going on holiday.

In order for this to work, all participating sites have to sit on our servers and be incorporated into our databases. This does not affect the look or normal functionality of your web site. The Where On Earth Group will have to undertake certain technical work to incorporate your site, improve navigation and make it more user- and search-engine-friendly. For a limited time, we are prepared to absorb these costs whilst the network grows so now is the best time to join.

Sometimes it is more realistic to design and build a new web site and in most instances we will undertake this work free of charge.

Once our work is completed, you will have a web site that is carrying an ever- growing amount of useful information ensuring that your web site is a site that people return to again and again for a variety of reasons, thus guaranteeing constant traffic.

Every partner web site owner has access to upload information to his or her site. This information (if appropriate) will appear on your site without you having the work or costs involved in maintaining this kind of data. You are only responsible for your own data input. Any web sites that The Where On Earth Group builds remain the property of the group if they have been provided free of charge.

Members are encouraged to introduce other businesses to join the network - even your competitors, as they will become a window to your business. The more web sites that join, the more likely it is that people will visit one of our sites and do business with you.
