Hairbeam
As with any new or
revolutionary product is it essential that
it is brought to the attention of those who
will benefit from it.
We would recommend Web Windows to anyone who
wishes to start up, build or expand their
business and benefit from the wide market
that Web Windows can reach. We wish also to
thank you for all your courteous and helpful
cooperation in advertising my product.

Discontinued Colours
As a small family business that supply
discontinued bathroomware, we thought we
would try a small advert via WebWindows in
the Sunday Times magazine. The response was
phenomenal with over 100 enquiries received
by email and telephone in the first few
days, and we will definitely be using
WebWindows again. Our only concern is
whether we can cope with the additional
business that any future advertisements will
generate!

Catches &
Latches
Catches and Latches advertised in the Sunday
Telegraph and Sunday Times and are very
pleased with the response generated by both
publications. Sales and web hits have
increased considerably during the weeks
across which we placed the ads, and we hope
to be using Web Windows for our next
marketing campaign.

Interknickers
We have found advertising in The Mail on
Sunday You magazine to be our preferred
publication. We have repeatedly run our
advert on this page and are in the opinion
that keeping a regular appearance has helped
build brand awareness and ultimately more
business. We have had scores of people
telling us that they noticed our adverts on
the page and plenty of feedback about how
eye catching it looks. We will definitely be
keeping a recurring presence on this page.

Kingfisher
Music
Kingfisher Music has advertised with Web
Windows on several occasions and has found
the Sunday Times Web Directory to be a great
way to attract interest from further a
field, not just the local area. On each ad
we have noticed an increase in sales, and we
will continue to promote our website through
this successful medium. We were provided
with an eye-catching piece of artwork that
really does justice to our business and gave
us the best chance for a good response.

QVS Direct
QVS Direct has been regularly advertising
with Web Windows for several months now, a
great way of generating a tangible response.
We have advertised across all publications,
with the Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph
being our particular favourites. These ads
are a great way to affordably attract scores
of new people to our site by making sure our
brand name is being promoted to the millions
of Sunday readers.

Shape8.com
Shape8.Com tried a test panel in the Web
Directory in the Sunday Times and were
delighted with the 1000’s of extra visitors
this generated for our web site. The art
department did an excellent job putting
together our art work after we gave them
some suggestions and we look forward to
using Web Windows again in the future when
other special occasions arise.

Lloydloomonline decided to try a series of
single Web Windows panels in the Sunday

fantastic with lots of enquires and

upgrading to double panel sizes to maximise
our exposure and build on the success of our
ad campaign using Web Windows.

Pet
Department Online
Pet Department decided to try an advert in
the Sunday Times after having had success
with our ad in Observer Magazine. The
response gained from our advertisement in
the Sunday Times Web Directory was immediate
and so pleasing that we have just booked a
longer series. I was also extremely pleased
with the very professional help with the
layout of the advert and the copy produced
was superb. We look forward to working with

Decant Air
Initially, we ran a series of three
consecutive single panel advertisements in
the Sunday Times Magazine. We were very
pleased with the increase in business and
traffic to our site that we decided to make
a real showpiece of our next advertisement
in the lead up to Christmas.
Our latest advertisement is four times the
standard panel size. It looks fantastic,
really stands out well and dominates the
page.
We have been impressed by the speed,
efficiency and professionalism of Web
Windows and look forward to continuing our
relationship with them in the future.

Shop Safe
We began advertising with Web Windows at the
end of last year, running a campaign of six
adverts in The Observer Magazine. Since then
we have advertised in all their
publications, one of our favourites being
The Sunday Times magazine. We have been
pleased with the results generated from the
adverts placed and as a result have
continued to advertise on their web
directory pages on an ongoing basis every
couple of weeks.

Tandem
Experience
Tandeming chose to run a single insertion in
the Sunday Times as a trail run to see what
kind of interest would be generated. Whilst
we were aware that a series is generally the
best way to build a really good response,
budget restrictions dictated! We were
extremely impressed with the 80% rise in
traffic to our site, which could only have
been attributed to this advert. Not only did
traffic rise on the Sunday when the ad was
actually published but continued through the
week too. We will certainly be using Web
Windows again in future as we are confident
that when needing to highlight specific
offers, or generate interest at quite times
of the year, that it really does pay.

Living Beer
Living Beer has an established and
successful relationship with Web Windows
forged through over a year's worth of
advertising. We use Web Windows as part of
an established advertising schedule for 2
reasons, one is to gain exposure at times of
year when our product is especially relevant
and second Web Windows allows smaller
companies to enjoy advertising in mass media
which would be prohibitively expensive to do
alone. We know that raising awareness at
these times of year really bolsters our
profile as well as sales; for example we
appeared last Christmas and in the run up to
Fathers Day, with fantastic success. Living
Beer has also taken the opportunity to use
Web Windows as a reliable pick me up at
slower times of the year and will remain
firm clients for the coming years.

Ticket Tree
We decided to trial an insertion in The
Independent on Sunday after forming an
understanding of the readership and
concluding that they fitted our target
customer. From the first day which our
advert appeared we had instant feedback,
approximately 30% of our response came
through on the Sunday which the advert
appeared. We know in theory that the
magazine is kept into the week but were
sceptical as to whether or not people would
still see the advert. We were impressed when
custom kept coming right through until the
following Thursday. Overall we were really
pleased with a one day advert, which bought
in 5 days of trading, and was at an
excellent price when we booked it! We are
now keeping Web Windows at close quarters to
ensure that we can rebook when we feel it
appropriate throughout the rest of the year.

Spritz
We decided to go ahead and book a series of
three ads in The Telegraph after a deal was
offered that we thought too good to refuse.
We had an excellent looking ad, which
appeared on a great looking page, where
there were only 14 other ads. The format
looked good and the response that came
through as a result was brilliant.
Spritz.co.uk is quite a niche business;
selling fancy dress costumes and equipment
over the internet; finding a good platform
is difficult, we're glad we've found it with
Web Windows. We are now looking into booking
again later in the year when we feel that
Web Windows will spur people on to our site.

Brompton
Home Health Ltd.
We wanted to test the response that could be
gained by advertising to 2.9 million
affluent readers on a three weekly trial.
Home Heart were very impressed by the
fantastic artwork produced for them by the
in-house art department.
The series of advertisements generated
increased traffic to their website which
brought along an increase in sales of Home
Defibrillators . The overall high response
to the advertisements has meant continued
and successful advertising for Home Heart on
a frequent basis.
"The increased number of hits and traffic to
our website together with the overall
response rate from customers has made us
want to continue advertising with Web
Windows and build on an already successful
relationship."

RSVP
Introductions
RSVP has always been a fan of press
advertising, maximising our local presence
throughout our core area of the country. We
were looking at ways of expanding the
business when we were approached by Web
Windows, who created a marketing strategy,
including multiple insertions in The Sunday
Times Magazine and The Sunday Telegraph
Magazine. We were offered a brilliant deal
and were impressed with the excellent
response which started to come back as soon
as the adverts were published. Enquiries
came from all over the country and we are
now looking to expand our service, to gain
further access to this broader market which
Web Windows has opened up for us. This is
most definitely a successful and lucrative
way of appearing before millions of people
which RSVP will be continuing.

Porter
We ran a trial insertion in The Observer
Magazine which we rapidly followed up with a
second when we saw the response that started
to come through straight away. We are really
impressed with this flexible way of
advertising and like the fact that Web
Windows can be booked around current
advertising and bring in immediate custom.
The mix of advertisers on the page with us
meant that we weren't fighting over
prospective customers with any direct
competitors and we hope to keep this a
guarded secret to stop them from catching
on! We are planning our next steps with Web
Windows, happy in the knowledge that we can
predict what will come from it.

Instant
Holidays
www.ski-ski-ski.co.uk ran Web Window ads in
The Sunday Telegraph and The Observer and
enjoyed extremely buoyant sales. This method
of promoting our web site was extremely cost
effective, allowing us to reach large
numbers of affluent consumers who may not
use search engines. We received interest
from parties who had learnt of our services
from our site, therefore minimising the
number of fruitless enquiries. Web Windows
has a successful formula that we shall use
in future to promote our other sites.

MBT Customs
We decided to test out Web Windows as an
advertising medium to gain publicity for our
website and ultimately to generate more
sales. Following the exposure of our advert
to 1.7 million readers in The Sunday
Telegraph Magazine we were delighted by the
response that it produced. During the week
the advert appeared the results were superb.
Apart from the increased number of hits made
to the website sales generated were much
appreciated. The amount sold far outweighed
the cost of the advertising.
So pleased with the response, we're now
looking to advertise with web Windows on a
more permanent basis."

Bean
Machine
As a first foray with Web Windows we took
our time in considering which publication
was right for us. We chose to run an initial
campaign in The Independent on Sunday Review
in order to target a manageable number of
wealthy internet users. For what we felt was
a relatively prominent ad we were impressed
that costs were kept to a minimum.
Throughout the period which our ad appeared
in the national press, interest in the site
was maximised and hits were increased. We
are more than happy with the increased sales
and definitely plan to appear again in Web
Windows proven publications.

Software
Galaxy
Web Windows approached us with a low cost
offer to appear in 3 prestigious
publications, spread over a period of time.
This meant that our budgets were not
overstretched and we could put together a
lengthy campaign to reach 6.3 million
readers. This was the first time Software
Galaxy had appeared in such mass circulating
media and we were impressed with the
results. Cost will prohibit us from being a
full time advertiser but we will ensure that
when we can, we will embellish our marketing
campaign with some much welcomed exposure
from Web Windows.

Ambush
Paintball
Ambush Paintball tried Web Windows as an
experiment to see if there really would be
any response from advertising in the
national press. We were impressed with the
art work which was speedily put together for
us by the Art Team at Web Windows. When the
advert was published in The Independent on
Sunday we noted an increase to hits on our
site which we believe has contributed to
raised awareness. We intend to stay in touch
with Web Windows with a view to further
advertising when the time is right.

Data Browse
We were searching for a way to improve
traffic to the site when we were approached
by Web Windows. We considered their offer of
reaching a cumulative figure of 3.3 million
people over 6 weeks. We were impressed by
the results and found traffic to the site
was buoyant throughout the period. As a
search facility, traffic through the website
is vital to us and we are pleased to report
that Web Windows helped sustain this. We
will be interested to receive more
information from Web Windows with a view to
booking further series in future.

Itnerd
This was my first national advertising
campaign and I chose Web Windows as they
offered a new, fresh medium to reach a

Telephones
Online
I am happy to place on record that the
response to our Web Windows advertising led
to increased enquiries, which converted into
a substantial number of sales for Telephones
Online. An email from Web Windows had been
forwarded to us by a fellow website owner.
After various discussions we chose Radio
Times as being best for our market as far as
reader profile and coverage was concerned.
The overall success of our campaign has led
to an ongoing relationship with Web Windows
that will certainly result in further
appearances in their publications.

Holdsworth Chocolates
Holdsworth Chocolates ran a series of ads in
Web Windows for The Independent on Sunday
and received an excellent response resulting
in a substantial amount of orders and online

Digital

We have now run a series of adverts on two
separate occasions and have found a very

Passion8.com
We have had a continued advertising
relationship with Web Windows for over a
year, advertising mostly in the Observer and
the Independent with our website
Passion8.com. Throughout this time we have
advertised frequently and have enjoyed a
great response the advertisements have
generated for us. On a cost ratio we could
not advertise in these publications for the
same cost as Web Windows and a relatively
small ad would simply be lost in a section,
whereas in the Web Windows section it has a
higher profile and targets online users
directly. We have had a lot of advertising
experience in a variety of publications and
I am happy to say that Web Windows has been
one of the top performers. We have found Web
Windows service to be professional and the
advertising they provide to be very
beneficial in boosting our exposure,
increasing our traffic and improving on-line
sales. We shall certainly be doing more
business in the future.

Union Jack
Supplies
Union Jack Supplies.co.uk ran a tactical Web
Windows campaign across Radio Times and The
Observer. Our objective was quite simple; to
shift as much product online at a
strategically important merchandising period
for us. Web Windows gave us carefully
reasoned media advice and through their
design team some very strong creative for
use in our advertisement. The campaign was a
great success and gave a positive return on
investment. There is no doubt we will be
using Web Windows again in the future.

Nice
Surprises
The advice Web Windows gave concerning how
to market our website in magazines was
invaluable. Nice Surprises tested initially
with a three-series in just one Sunday
supplement to gauge the response. We found
that with each insertion the amount of
orders generated increased each time. For
our second phase we are now introducing

sales. We are looking forward to a continued
relationship with Web Windows.

Shoe Net
This was the first time we chose to
advertise our website offline and the
efficiency with which the artwork was
created was very impressive. During the time

Ethnic

"We made enquiries about advertising in Web
Windows having seen their pages appearing in
a number of Sunday supplements. After
careful consideration, we felt that The
Observer served our market best and ran a
series of three ads promoting
Grandad-shirts.com. We have enjoyed a very
good response from our advertising and with
every order taken we have asked how people
have come across our site. With most orders
over the last few weeks, the replied has
generally been as a result of seeing our Web

Web Windows has provided us with has been

We have been advertising with Web Windows
since July 2001 and would like to place on
record how pleased we have been with the
increased response to our website, achieving

Nylon
Dreams
Nylon Dreams.co.uk were emailed by Web
Windows with idea of running a colour ad in
the Sunday supplements. As we do not have
limitless budgets we considered very
carefully the magazines in their portfolio
and decided to test market in The Observer.
To date we have been more than happy with

importantly, we shifted a decent amount of
stock. We are now planning our next tranche
of advertising and Web Windows will be

John Alan
Designs
We planned a
campaign to run just prior, then just after
Christmas in The Sunday Times Magazine and
after the noticeable surge in hits, we have
now rebooked a selection of dates over the
next 12 months. At John Alan Designs, we
understand that the bespoke nature of our
products does not predispose itself to
impulse buying, but careful selection from a
relatively small number of people and as
such we really appreciate the flexibility
that one can take advantage of through Web
Windows. We can now pick the best 8
insertion dates for us in The Sunday Times
Magazine secure in the knowledge that when
the advert appears we know the a substantial
surge of people will be heading towards our
website – a new customer base that we didn't
have access to previously.'

John Myatt
Woodwind & Brass
'We realised that building
awareness of our website, in a market where
there are so many similar sites offering
products and services that we also stock,
was of paramount importance. Myatt.co.uk
therefore decided to use Web Windows to
raise our profile, by cashing in on the
reputations of The Telegraph, The Observer
and The Independent Magazines, we would
benefit from the inferred recommendation of
the titles as well as cashing in on the
resulting sales from the thousands of
readers that we reached. We certainly see
our relationship with Web Windows as a long
running one and are glad of the flexibility
that the availability of the different
magazines allow’
