MONEY MAKING SCHEMES AND SCAMS
Money making schemes and scams, how to differentiate between genuine internet money making opportunities and bogus money making schemes and scams
It has to be said that not all money making schemes are scams and not all scams are money making schemes. There are plenty of ways to make legitimate money on the internet but finding them and being able to recognise if they are a scam or a genuine business opportunity can be bewildering.
We cover a number of excellent and proven ways to make money later in the book but our first task is to try to keep you out of the grasp of the internet predators who claim to be selling rags to riches stories under the guise of get rich quick schemes.
INTERNET MONEY MAKING OPPORTUNITIES
A legitimate business will have a useful purpose, product or service behind it albeit it that it is designed to make money or better still a profit. These can be genuine affiliate marketing schemes, website flipping, pay per click advertising management, selling other peoples products or services and even selling other authors' e-books.
You could even
earn money selling The Golden Web
through our affiliate scheme if you have a website or want to set up a website on
Utopele. However, we would not recommend setting up a website just to sell this book, even if you do agree that it is the best bloody book you have ever read about making money on the internet. If affiliate marketing, which we cover later in the book is something you feel you could make money from, then The Golden Web could be one of a hundred different products or services that you promote.
You certainly won't get rich selling the book but if you were to earn a couple of thousand a year from promoting the Golden Web and the same from a hundred or so other affiliate schemes, you would start to build a substantial income. However, it is not as simple as that as you have to have a website or web pages that high levels of visitors find.
The problem for the novice internet entrepreneur is recognising what is a genuine business opportunity and what is simply a money chain letter because the scammers are very good at disguising the real purpose of their money making idea.
MONEY MAKING SCHEMES
First of all, never subscribe to any website that does not provide a genuine telephone number for you to be able to speak to the person or people behind the idea. The last thing scammers want is you being able to ring them up and give them hell. They rarely ever provide any contact details where you can speak to someone. Having extracted your money, you can send them as many emails as you want; they will simply delete them and you will never see a penny back in return.
Never subscribe to any business opportunity where the website is not telling you what the business is about. Legitimate businesses will at least tell you the market sector that they are working in. Scammers will go on and on about the money you can make, lead you round and round in circles, teasing you to continue reading without actually fulfilling your desire for precise information but promising you riches if you subscribe.
