The House and Grounds

Les Granges is a spacious, renovated farmhouse that can comfortably accommodate up to nine people. The ground floor has an open plan living room/kitchen, a dining room and a large utility room. The first floor has four bedrooms, including two with their own washbasins, and two three-piece bathrooms. The one double and seven single beds all have their duvets, blankets and pillows supplied. Linen – duvet covers, sheets, towels – is not provided, and soap, Butagaz, etc. may need to be replenished during your stay. Otherwise the house is completely equipped.

Bedrooms	4-5: 1 room with double bed; 2 rooms with 2 twin beds; 1 room with a single bed. The dining room has 2 additional beds and can be used as an extra bedroom.
Bathrooms	2, plus washbasins in two bedrooms and in the dining room.
Kitchen/Living Room	Kitchen is well equipped to feed large parties. Sitting area has large, original wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating.
Dining Room	Dining table can seat ten.
Utility Room	Ping-pong table, tools, storage.
Amenities	Stove, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, telephone (including minitel), 13 amp power supply with UK plugs, hot & cold mains-supplied water.
Swimming Pool	8.25 x 4 metres; equipped with child alarm
Other	Fold-away cot; clip-on high chair

The Grounds

The house opens onto a large terrace with a vine-clad pergola. Beyond that is another terrace overlooking the valley, with a small area for playing boules. The swimming pool is about 20 metres from the house, and has its own terrace with table, chairs and sun umbrella. In keeping with French law, the pool has a built-in child alarm. We have a service contract with a local firm for regular pool cleaning and maintenance. The rest of the grounds consists of meadows and woods, and the property is surrounded by farmland.
