Fat gene FTO is not the reason you are fat and obese, you are overweight because you eat too much of the wrong food and don't exercise enough

So what if there is a gene that prevents you from knowing when you are full? So what if they come up with findings that prove some of us find it harder to lose weight than others? We all know that we haven't got the genetic makeup to make us all Olympic athletes; but it doesn't stop many of us taking regular exercise and accepting our lot. This FTO (fed too often or fat, thick and obese) gene doesn't change anything and if you are someone who has always come up with excuses for being fat and obese, this will become yet another weapon in your arsenal.

The facts remain; you are what you eat. If you choose to eat junk food you will poison your liver to the point that it cannot process the food and you will put on weight. If you choose to pile your plate high with food, you will put on weight. If you don't eat your food in the right order you will pile on the pounds and if you don't eat your food slowly and chew it correctly you will be expecting your digestion system to work over time.

We are all faced with the same choices; we either want to be fit and healthy or we simply don't care enough about how we look and feel and turn ourselves into fat disgusting adults. Worse still, many parents don't care enough about the health of their children; feed them all sorts of crap and turn them into obese, slovenly infants who grow into obese grownups.

It doesn't matter one iota if you have the FTO gene, even if they find a thousand genes that lead to obesity; you have to make your own choices and decisions. Do you want to be fat and obese or do you want to be slim and healthy. If it is the former, piss off and make yourself a couple of bacon sandwiches. (hundreds of people just clicked out of this site to run off and make themselves a snack because they really don't care how much they weigh or how they look.) If you want to be slim and healthy, all you have to do is eat sensibly and that is what La Feytaud is all about.

Slim people will generally be following a healthy diet. This doesn't mean they are eating lettuce leaves all the time; they will be eating three or four course meals on La Feytaud. Yes, you read it right; you can eat a healthy four course meal of an evening and lose weight. You just eat food in the right order, don't pile your plate up excessively and chew it properly. A main course should consist of 25% protein, 25% carbohydrates and 50% green vegetables.

Plus of course, you have to exercise properly. Jogging from the dining room table to the sofa doesn't constitute a fitness regime and worse still; sitting on the sofa and eating will not help your digestion.

As I said earlier, we all have the same opportunity to make the same decisions about our health and what we eat. You can either be a slim and healthy person or you can be a fat and bloated lump of lard. The decision is entirely yours.
