It is time to put the family back in the centre for taking responsibility for their children and their behaviour. Families that fail to look after their children or fail to control their children would be penalised both financially and logistically.
FAMILY VALUES
It is the job of both parents to install decent family values and morals in their children. Children that are guilty of anti-social behaviour, vandalism, shop lifting or theft, truant or other misdemeanours would be placed under curfew in their own homes with the parents taking direct responsibility for maintaining the curfew.
FAMILY RESPONSIBILITY
The parents of any children that then broke the curfew or committed another misdemeanour would be moved to special ringed estates. It is undoubtedly the responsibility of all parents to educate and bring their children up to be responsible law abiding and decent adults.
Look at any child responsible for anti-social behaviour and you will find parents who take no responsibility nor care for their children. It is time to remove these people from the centre of decent life to places where they cannot disrupt or make the lives of the majority of law abiding people.
HOUSING PROJECTS AND RINGED ESTATES
High rise blocks of flats would be built outside or on the edge of selected towns and ringed fenced to prevent the inhabitants from leaving and disrupting the lives of other decent people. Employment would be provided within these ringed estates buy businesses responsible for providing the accommodation, maintenance and employment. These ringed estates would be profit making enterprises.
Any family member responsible for vandalism or any misdemeanour whilst held in a ringed estate could cause the whole family to be moved to an estate with a harsher and tougher regime.
Schools and other amenities would be provided on these estates, either government or business funded.
No family would be allowed to leave until they had proved that they were fit to rejoin society.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
The political correct brigade who scream about the human rights of people should take into account that the human rights of every decent law abiding citizen are constantly abused by a growing minority of sub human low lives that care nothing for the rights of decent people. This sub culture is responsible for turning estates into slums, the majority of benefit fraud, anti-social behaviour and crime.
Put them where they can be monitored, controlled and re-educated and they may just stand a chance of becoming acceptable members of society one day. Allow them to continue to wander our streets and they will continue to pollute society and prey on the innocent.
It will also free up an enormous amount of much needed housing that could be used or sold on as low cost housing to first time buyers.
