the 12m swimming pool, which has a roman end with steps
for easy access. Each house has its own terrace and ample
garden furniture and sun lounger's are provided, also a
BBQ, children's bikes, etc. The property is fully fenced
for safety and security. The fishing lake in the grounds
is stocked with carp up to 45lbs, tench etc.

The
area of Charente is well known for its excellent cuisine,
cognacs and wines. In the local area alone, there are several
fantastic auberges and many fabulous restaurants to visit.
The Charentaise people are well known to be the friendliest
and warmest of people, especially to the English, with whom
they share a romantic historic past. In nearby towns, there
is a wonderful variety of shops, as well as historic and
futuristic sights to see, and places of interest to visit.
Maquignon, set in rural South West France, is such a peaceful
place for unwinding and relaxing and enjoying the countryside,
yet set in such a way that you can travel around and enjoy
the "chic, splendour and culture" that France is renowned
for.
