Previous page about bank charges.

Banks could be described as a necessary evil. It would be difficult to operate without them as much as the idea might appeal. The old adage about giving you an umbrella when it's shining and taking it away when it's raining is only partly true. They also strip you of your raincoat, take away your wellies and kick you out into the rain without a thought.

A bank, by its very nature cannot act within your interest. They are money lenders and they make money from people who depend on them and do it on their terms. They spend a fortune on marketing; convincing clients that they actually care about them. However, when you need them and actually require them to care about your circumstances, they will turn you out into the cold.

They have made good use of your money when you had it in your bank, made money from it and then charged you for the privilege. Now is the time to stop bank charges.
